A hive you can smell.
Logo, visual identity, café applications, kids’ zone branding and social media for Honey Cafe in Lattakia, Syria.

01The idea
A hive, three cups and steam.
Honey Cafe is a café in Lattakia, Syria. We built the mark from the hexagon of a beehive, a shape everyone already knows. Three smaller hexagons inside it read as coffee cups, three curved lines rise as steam, and the name sits underneath.
02The system
Honey, orange and dark roast.
Honey yellow, warm orange and a coffee brown, with two patterns cut from the same hexagon and a wave pattern for the smell of fresh coffee. FF Taweel in Latin and a matching Arabic display face keep the voice bold and friendly.

03On the table
From the door to the cup.
The mark goes on the glass door and the wall, the plates and placemats, the tote bag and the takeaway cups, which wrap the wave pattern in honey yellow.
04The zones
Three zones for younger guests.
The café has a kids’ area, so we gave it a playful sub-brand of its own: Honey Kids, with Cinema, Gaming and Playing zones, each with a character logo, and wall banners printed for the space.
05In the feed
Warm, simple, and always yellow.
Launch covers and posts for Facebook and Instagram, weekly posts on honey-yellow and brown grounds, and announcements for the kids’ clubs.
The result
One hexagon carries the whole café: the sign on the door, the cups, the tableware, the kids’ zones and the feed. Yellow and brown make it recognisable from across the street or a phone screen.
