Who we are
MODS (Majd Othman Design Studio) is a sole establishment licensed in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We are responsible for the personal data described here. Contact us about anything on this page at mods@majdothman.com.
What we collect
- When you send the contact form: your name, company, email, phone or WhatsApp number, the service you are interested in, budget, deadline and your message.
- When you book a call: your name, email, company, what you are interested in, an optional note, the time you pick and your time zone.
- When you subscribe to MODS Flow: your name, work email, WhatsApp number, company and the add-ons you choose. Payment is handled by Ziina on its own secure page. We never see or store your card details.
- When you browse: privacy-friendly visit statistics without cookies (pages viewed, referrer, device type and country), which do not identify you personally.
Why we use it
- To reply to you and arrange the call you asked for.
- To set up and run your subscription: your workspace, requests, invoices, renewal payment links and support.
- To meet legal and tax duties, including VAT records.
- To understand which pages help visitors, so we can improve the website.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising profiles. We only email you about your enquiry, booking or subscription.
Who we share it with
Only the services we need to run MODS, each under its own privacy and security terms:
- Ziina, our payment provider, to process your payment.
- Google (Calendar and Meet), to schedule calls and send you the invite.
- Our hosting and email providers, to run this website and send emails.
- Our design team, only the brief and materials needed to deliver your requests.
Some of these providers may store data outside the UAE. We share only what each one needs.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and bookings that do not become projects: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Client and subscription records, invoices and payment references: as long as required by UAE tax law (usually at least 5 years).
- Visit statistics: kept as anonymous totals.
Your rights
Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law you can ask us to:
- show you the personal data we hold about you,
- correct anything that is wrong,
- delete your data when we no longer need to keep it,
- stop using it for a purpose you object to.
Email mods@majdothman.com and we will reply within 30 days.
Cookies and storage
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It remembers your chosen view (Project or Flow) and, during checkout, your order details in your own browser so the welcome page can show them. You can clear these at any time in your browser settings.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
