01The brief
Digital art, made to hang.
Kutubna’s Digital Art Exhibition took work made on screens, in Procreate, Photoshop, Illustrator, IbisPaint X and more, and showed it as printed pieces on the gallery wall. More than 35 works by 27 artists from 16 countries. The identity had to say digital and printed at the same time.
The subtitle
Printed Works, أعمال مطبوعة. One line under the title that tells visitors what they will find on the walls.
The system
It follows the Kutubna exhibition system: the artwork fills the frame, a bilingual title block on one colour, details in matching English and Arabic.
02The key visual
Pixels, laid over paint.
A single digital work fills the frame: a face, a red stroke, layered texture that reads almost like oil paint. Over it we set translucent teal squares, like enlarged pixels, that gather into the title block and the vertical date bar. The pixel grid is the one detail this show adds to the system.
Type
- ITC Avant Garde Gothic
- Tajawal
03The catalogue
64 pages, one plate per work.
Every artist opens with a portrait and a bilingual biography. Every work gets its own plate with title, software, year and size in English and Arabic, so the tools behind each piece are part of the record, from Procreate to Affinity Photo.

04Inviting the city
The same squares, every format.
The pixel squares rearrange for each size: the square post, the feed portrait, the story, and two website banners. The title block, the dates and the opening details stay where visitors expect them, in English and Arabic.
The result
A full identity for Digital Art Exhibition: Printed Works, 17 January to 9 March 2026, on the Kutubna exhibition system. One added detail, the pixel square, was enough to give the show its own character.
